Directory Separator

"\": Backslash 
"/": Forward Slash
":": Colon

Use the forward slash as separator because that's the UNC (Universal Naming Convention) standard, it works for both Linux/UNIX and (usually) DOS/Windows, and the Mac-heads should understand it.
